Friends Mixer is a series of pop-up social events for people in Burlington who want to meet others in a way that doesn’t feel forced or awkward. We mix light structure (icebreakers, games, fun prompts) with a laid-back atmosphere (food truck, drinks, music, no pressure). Just a good excuse to connect with people you wouldn’t meet otherwise.
Whether you're new to town, expanding your circle, or just want something different to do on a weeknight, this is for you!
🧠 Light hosted activities — from group icebreakers to mini games that get conversations rolling
🎲 Drop-in stations — like giant Jenga, cornhole, the community map, Uno, and more
🗺️ The Vibe — outdoors, music playing, sunset views, and friendly people floating between conversations
🍔 Drinks + food — grab a drink from the bar and a bite from the food truck (not included, but worth it)
People of all ages and backgrounds. From grad students to remote workers to longtime locals. Some come solo, others bring a friend. What they have in common: they’re open to chatting, playing, and maybe making a new friend or two.
